The Asian Transport Observatory (ATO) is our go-to hub for all things data, trends, and insights on transport across Asia and the Pacific. Whether you're a policymaker, researcher, or just curious about how countries are tackling mobility, emissions, or electric vehicles — ATO brings together the numbers, the stories, and the context to make sense of it all. Think of it as a living knowledge base, built to help us plan better, ask smarter questions, and make transport work for people and the planet.
Go to the asiantransportobservatory.org website and you'll find a national database that covers 52 economies and more than 450 indicators. It's urban database also contains more than 250 indicators for 460 plus cities (with more detailed datasets for more than 50 cities). You'll also find a comprehensive list of policy documents, as well as a transport project cost database.
